The Bauer Elite INT Knee Pads build off the Vapor 1X design, while upgrading some key areas to better fit and protect the high-level goalie.
External Material
The Elite knee pads use a durable nylon construction with leather overlays in the high wear areas.
Knee Cap
The goalies knee is protected by a Curv composite outer guard lined with Poron for comfort and added impact resistance. The Elite has a much wider knee cap cover making it slightly bulkier than the Pro knee pad.
Liner
Bauer uses their ThermoMax liner which is a comfortable, breathable moisture wicking liner designed to keep you cool throughout the game.
Strapping
The Elite knee pads use a three strap system, the top two are made of elastic while the bottom one is made of a more contouring webbing designed to lock to the leg better making the knee pads more comfortable.
Pant Attachment
There’s a single webbed strap sewn into the top of the knee pad designed to work with bauer’s garter belt.
Sizes & Colors
The Bauer Elite Intermediate Knee Pads come in a black leather and grey nylon colourway and a single size only but the velcro strapping allows for a fair amount of adjustment.
